Retrofit rain sensor, constant wiping

Hi, I have a 2001 Seat Leon 20vt4 Sport that I've tried to retrofit a rain sensor in using the following parts:

Original used rain sensor (also got a new spare one) 1J0955559
Topran *192* relay new from Autodoc 1J0955531
Kufatec wiring harness
Gentex auto dimming mirror with dome LED's & on/off dimming function

My problem is that with everything installed as the Kufatec manual instructed me to do the wipers stay on at a constant medium speed, even if the stalk is in its "off" position. The highest speed is still working, but all other positions is medium constant. If I unplug the relay and reconnect it, it worked as if it was an "intermittent system" (like a vehicle not equipped with a rain sensor) but only for a little while, now it doesn't matter how many times I disconnect/reconnect the relay, it stays on. Disconnecting the rain sensor, or even connecting the new one, doesn't change a thing.

What could be the problem? What are the odds that the Kufatec harness is incorrectly wired? Should I have opted for an original relay instead of a lesser brand?

My first thought right now is to measure continuity between the connector in the roof (to the rain sensor) and the pins down at the relay location to see if it's actually correctly wired. What else could it be...

Checked kufatec harness, it was correctly wired. Seemed a little bit weird that I didn't have any current to the rain sensor with the topran relay installed.

Got my used oem 192 relay today. I disconnected the Topran relay that they claimed was a 192 one and replaced it with the oem one. Works like a charm!

Be aware of cheaper brands.
