Reverse lights not working

Hi guys,

Maybe someone can help me sort this out.....My reverse lights have stopped working. I've changed the bulbs and checked and checked the fuse but they are still not coming on when i engage reverse. Has anyone got any ideas what could be causing it?

I had same problem with my brake lights ages ago

Pull the plug out the bulb holder and clean the terminals inside the plug

Brake cleaner and a cotton bud worked well for me, mines been fine since

either that of possibly the reverse switch itself?

reverse switch is located on the gearbox at the top under what looks like the end of a golf club upside down...

bridge the reverse light switch with a split pin - switch on ignition - if they work its the switch - 5 minute fix
