I've just fitted one to my cupra, instructions said it doesn't matter, more for noise, I noticed they do one for a bit more cash, which you can alter yourself. Far better than that the old Bosch device!

Mine sounds exactly the same either way round with a forge coldside kit on but I did hear the dv open on full boost with it backwards so it went back the other way.
