My 2018 Leon FR has a white reversing light at the bottom of each rear light cluster. The nearside has a bulb & works; the driver's side has what looks like 3 LEDs & doesn't work - is this a dummy light? Is this how it should be?
Unfortunately the one I fitted (from Amazon) is no longer available. It wasn't brilliant but better than the cig dimp bulb fitted as standard. Make sure however what you fit is CAN-bus error free then it won't spring a bulb warning due to being non standard fit.
A slight improvement over stock, but the tinted windows (FR & Cupra)/low lumen output from a smaller single bulb on the facelift is a poor design feature.
I would have posted a link, but these appear as rare as PS5s on the net at the moment!
955 W16W OSRAM LED white bulbs. Improve the safety and style of your brake or reverse lights. Fit and forget with up to 4,000 hours bulb life and 6 year warranty.
Anyone's dab affected in reverse with led bulbs? I know it doesn't really matter for a few seconds but wondered if it's just a bulb or every bulb problem.
Has anyone replaced their reversing bulb with a 955 (W16W) White Philips Ultinon Pro6000 LED Bulb from autobulbsdirect? I'm tempted to try it because I see that some of the reviews on their website for the other suggested option 955 / 921 Twenty20 Impact Canbus LED 12V W16W Bulb say that it has some issues with fitting.
Mine is a '69 plate Mk3 Leon estate.
