Hey, I was just wondering if anyone has revo that runs on setting B I believe for 97 Ron? If so, what gains do you get from it? Most people run on setting c and fill up on v power but around here there's 1 shell garage I believe which is a trek for me if I want to fill up, so I fill up on 97ron as total is everywhere. I'm thinking of getting a remap soon so was just asking about oher peoples experiences.

Setting B is what you need. Setting C would not be what you want to run (even on optimax) without further mods

I'd say about 200-210 but it is a dyne lottery, some will read more than others.

Running on setting B would be the max if you could only get 97/98 RON fuel.

Setting C, as far as I'm aware, is for water/meth kitted/100 RON fuel users

Hes right. Its for race fuel 100+ octane.people can get away with c if using vpower and uprated intercooler on a very cold day. Only good for short blasts before engine temps rise. Its b you need

I see...I guess that's where the SPS switch comes in if i wanted to switch whenever I wanted. I'll prob add an induction kit to boost my gains. thanks for the info to you and mork :) you're a legend with your guides as well :)

Defo go for itg. Always heard good things about them. Theres a dyno plot of gains with itg on stage 2 on another thread. Proven gains at a high stage of tune. We dont know the upper limit of gains with the frge one as of yet. Heard a few people saying the designs not great but thats jst talk. Ive got itg and notice the difference in throttle responce and the way the car revs more freely. Not done a dyno test but 10-15 bhp is claimed on a stage1 car.

Ahh thought so, just wanted to make sure lol. Be a waste of money if i did go to C anyways. Yeah would be going for forge kit..itg is like 80 more on awesome GTI website I think

It will give gains. But how much is unknown. I like to go the proven route. If you look at hurdys plot on the stage2 thread you can see the difference thats made to the effectiveness of the exhaust. Nobody i know has this info with the forge.

Ps i dont work for itg:rofl:
