Just joined and have a question to ask. I would welcome advice.
I have recently bought a 56 plate Leon TDi FR and am seriously considering having it re-mapped by Revo. A friend of mine has a Cupra and the performance of his car was improved considerably. I have made enquires at my local (Bristol) Revo agent and his reply has raised doubts. Because my TDi has a DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter), he suggested that this would reduce the performance improvement and could also lead to problems with the filter clogging up. My (aforementioned) friend said he was sure that he had read blogs by people with the same engine who had gained considerable performance and not experienced any problems. Hence my confusion.
If anyone has any good advice for me on this subject I would be very grateful to hear from them.
