Hi guys had a free trial revo stage 1 remap was well impressed whit the performance afterwards.

Blow my number 3 ignition coil 10 mins afterwards, all fixed tho.

I wanna get the full stage 1 remap but am abit scared of anything major going wrong, the car runs fine the now, I have the following Green air filter, ss exhaust, forge tip, forge dv.

Has anyone got any tips or advice that i could do befor the remap ie. setup, tune or a service?? I have checked all hoses ect

Thanks Rab

I just bought my cupra and planned to get it remapped.

Ive just had a full service, cambelt and waterpump change and ive also just changed the water Temp sender.

That way i know ive done everything think i can to get the engine running the best it can before a remap.

Ive gotta change rear discs and pads on pay day then its time to save for the revo remap myself.

Replace all the standard vac hoses, for silicone hoses, as the old ones perish, and carry a spare coilpack.

Other than remembering that your pushing more pressure through the engine, you should be fine.

You could ask them to set the boost low, if your worried.
