I wonder if anybody can offer a little advice. I'm currently setting up my stage 1 Revo (non linear map) 2005 LCR with an SPS and Liquid Gauge.
Not many modifications to the car engine wise (80mm SFS TIP, green panel air filter, resonated Cobra cat back exhaust, colder heat range 7 NGK plugs and Millers CFS Nanodrive 5w40 oil).
So, observations so far running SPS settings of Boost 7 & Timing 3:
1. Boost is spiking above sensor threshold of 22.3psi (1.55bar) Vs what looks like requested boost of 1.25bar. Could this be an N75 valve problem?
2. Exhaust gas temps are reaching over 950 deg centigrade (seen 980 at redline). Does this mean I'm running too lean AFR's? Could this be linked to the N75 again, i.e. overboosting resulting in too lean a mixture?
3. Seeing MAF peak flow on 212grams per second. I think this seems about right for stage 1?
4. Max torque (which the liquid gauge is supposed to calculate from MAF flow of 288 foot pound).
Aside from any comments on the above anybody's experience with the Revo settings via SPS and the results (Dyno, liquid or otherwise) would be interesting!
Thanks all!!
