Hi All, I know that there has been a fair bit written on Revo Re-Maps, but just had to add this. Went to Votex in Congelton, Cheshire on Fri and got a stage 1 re-map on my Cupra. What a difference! You don't notice much in everyday driving, but above 3000 ish RPM it adds quite a kick!
Anyone thinking of it, just do it. The best few hundred quid that I have spent in ages. Going to be interesting to check my mpg now, should not take long to get some figures as I do 400+ miles a week. Will post the results if anyone is interested.

Mike at Votex said that they are working on a re-map of the DSG, so I have asked to be contacted when that's available as I hate the kick down when in manual mode.

Thank that I will take it to Awsomes rolling road day in Manchester next month to see just how good the engine now is.

Sorry if this is old news. Just had to share it with someone :)

Hope to see some of you in Manchester.
Jes.

Bit far for me to drive but agree on the REVO. I will be attending briskoda RR day here on 13th Nov so can't wait to see what I get. Doing 3 runs so will do 1st on standard map and the other to on top setting as I run v-power only. Will post results once they're in hehehehehehehhe

damn i want to get this done just cant afford to be losing the warranty! if they come up with one which you can change so it doesnt show its been remapped i will be on it like a car bonnet!

Jes
yes i am very interested in all feedback on MPG after the REVO, and DSG update
Post figures when you can.
Cheers.

How much did it cost.

Ummmm Dean, the REVO does NOT flash your ECU so the counter remains at 0 effectively and this has been checked by someone on here if I remember and if you get the SPS switch with it you can always set it back to standard map if sending the car in for any work to be done. I am sure we have discussed this on another thread here some where. GPL, wrt MPG figures, they will improve slightly with "decent" driving, trust me though you will struggle to drive nicely with all that extra power hehehehehehehehhe and she does get thirsty when you hoof her..................

Enjoy your new toy mate. I am pretty sure you are going to see a small reduction in fuel consumption when you drive normally. When you rinse the car the consumption will be a little bit higher.
Have Fun :)
