RHD 4 x 4 - Anyone else own one?

Hi,

Is my 4 x 4 rare?

Nobody else I've spoken to with the turbo version has a 4 x 4.

Assuming its a Leon MK1 4x4 then i would think it is (on here anyway) as its not available in the UK.

No they made a 1.8T, a v6 and a diesel 4wd Leon for the continent. There have been several Scandinavian members on her with 1.8T 4wds....

Its defo a 1.8 20vT, but 4 x 4.

After recently driving my friends FWD version I noticed mine seems alot slower accelerating, but sticks to the road like glue at speed on bends.

I wonder which is better?

have you looked underneath the rear of the car and seen the rear axle and propshaft?

It has a prop shaft with a diff and axel for rear wheels.

I realise you guys must think its odd, I thought 4 x 4 was common when I got it, but after some searching etc, I find its pretty rare.

I thought it would make sense if the EU model was the 4 x 4, but I think it was only sold in certain countries?

Who knows?

Just wondered if anyone else had one - so I could ask about performance etc.

PS: Can anyone help with my other post - about the engine / turbo problem?
