I didn't think the standard brakes were up to much, I came from AP 4pot brakes with Ferodo DS2500 pads on my Ibiza Cupra which were brilliant brakes. Driving my Leon Cupra R for the 1st time I thought it lacked a bit of braking power so BBK it was, and what difference it made.

I also came from AP racing 4 pots on my Ibiza Cupra with more BHP than my leon, the APs were awesome and where sooooo much lighter the the OE set up.

The Leon's 345mms are the best standard brakes I've felt for sure but nothing stops like a decent big brake set up. I miss the braking force and ability to out brake almost anything.
That's why I brought forge 6pots

I wasn't doubting what you said, I was saying 'hmm might have a look'. Standard Internet discussion miscommunication!

The FR brakes feel decent to me - not too sharp but enough bite. Might have to press it harder than if I had a BBK but I can easily get to wheel lock. I'm running standard discs with DS2500s and ATE SRB which feels pretty good to me!

Save money and fit the autotech internals instead. It does the exact same job at a fraction of the cost of the APR unit.

The Powervalve looks and sounds amazing I'll defiantly be getting one after I've done a few handling mods.
How did you find the drive home with the Powervalve?

Was nice meeting you too mate, meant to text u last night but by the time I got back it was late and I was ready for bed lol!

i thought I had set me satnav to go via them services, but I hadn't, hence I went on the M62 and got stuck in fookin traffic!

It defo sounded better when I was driving home, got to drive through the tyne tunnel this morning and it sounded like the walls were going to fall down it was that loud

Didnt sound that loud this morning but I did have the seats back up etc.

Just need to get someone to do a drive by for me so I can hear it for myself!

The traffic wasn't to good up the M6 either.
Hahaha god I bet the sound was unreal in the tunnel.
It's surprising the difference the back seats and parcel shelve make to how loud the exhaust is.

Yeah very happy, the power comes in sooner but I couldn't test it out really as the road was to busy and wet.
