It's not meant to be the same as an OE crashbar, more of a front end brace to keep it stiff and provide somwhere to mount the intercooler - same as most race cars.

Yes indeed it would, but I've been driving for 23 years and never had a frontal crash ever, plus with 6-pot 330mm brakes up front I'd hope to stop in time!

with the wmi rob does that add any boost etc to car? for example standard internals take around 1bar of boost before of chance melt down, would this still be safe to use with 1 psi of boost in your opinion
Doesn't add boost no, it cools the charge air and also allows you to add timing, which makes more power. Who told you 1BAR was the max. for stock internals? I've been running 1.4 BAR of boost for years!

Depends on the size of the turbo and the power it's capable of right enough, but stock internals can take more than 1 BAR easily.
Devils Own gave me a $25 discount and threw in a self-sealing float switch too - great company to deal with! So including shipping it all cost me £275.
So the Devils Own WMI kit is on it's way, so is the methanol, I already have some distillled water - so I'm good to go. This will be my last modification for quite some time, I know I've said that before but this time I am 100% serious, no more spending on the car unless something breaks!

Got my new header tank fitted, complete with Stant racing cap. I also made a carbon surround plate just to try and make it look neater, so it hides the brackets etc. around there.

My car is at Star right now being fixed, turned out it needs a new relay board as mine is corroded, water must have got in somehow.
25L of methanol has arrived, got 5L of distilled water, no sign of Devils Own kit yet but it has arrived in the UK so should be delivered in a day or two, ordered a water injection tank which has the outlet to the pump and a level indicator already fitted.
Should hopefully all be here this week so I can get it fitted next week.

Update on the WMI - tank has arrived which has the outlet to the pump and low level warning already built in, as well as a mounting bracket too, holds about 3-3.5 litres so not a bad size.

Well my Devils Own water methanol injection kit has arrived ............... and I may have to sell it!
Looks like my ECU could be faulty, so if I have to buy a new ECU I'll have to sell the WMI kit and probably my carbon bonnet to fund the new ECU (depends how much a new ECU is).
