Had custom remap on Friday at Jabba, extremely pleased.

Does anyone know what gear they use on the rolling road?

Many thanks

Matt

The custom remap was specifically for Shell V-Power.

Before 178bhp @ 5724rpm
After 228bhp @ 5861rpm

Before 247.8Nm @ 3342rpm
After 319.6Nm @ 3618rpm

Just wondering about the gear, because on the printout, it gives a max speed of 217.9km/h

Blimey....I want that remap now!!! How does the car feel now compared to standard?

I guessed it would be 5th, 136mph at top of 5th sounds about right

Andy... Car Is a vast improvement over standard. Where the surge of acceleration would tail off as standard, it now just pulls on even harder.
1st and 2nd are extremely violent!

ah, last time i was on the rollers, misses car was 3rd on a 5spd box,
well ther you go, cheers mitchy now i know rather than think!

That doesn't mean it's wrong. It's not a definite rule. A good rolling road operator will know, or will look up, the gear ratios of the car they are running before running it. As Mitchy says, they should be running the car in the gear that is closest to 1:1, but which gear that is varies from car to car.

This is also a reason why rolling road results vary so much ;)

Is the car completely standard other than that? What sort of money was it if you don't mind me asking?

I'm really tempted!

Car is standard apart from a THS Dump Valve (Identical to Forge 007)
As mentioned, the car has to be run on V-Power, but the custom map was £475
