Roof Aerial

Does anyone know how to remove the roof antenna for a Seat Ibiza MKIII i dont want to remove the base unit just the aerial, but i think i might have to. If anyone has done it can they tell me if it is a tricky job or not.

Totally unscrew and pull hard. It does come off mine and many others have done it. Brute force is the only option with this one

Yeah, you really have to pull quite hard.

ask some one to cup their hands around the base unit (to stop the roof from bulging) then unscrew and pull ruddy hard
