Roof Rack Cupra 300?

Hi all,

Looking into buying a kayak in the next week or two and needing a roof rack systrem to transport the kayaks about.

Could anyone recommend one? I couldn't find anything in the hand book to say it can have a roof rack system unless i've missed that chapter.

I have Thule Wingbar and i can recommend it. There is also Evo version of it but i dont like rack to stick outside dimensions of the roof.

Btw my car is HB as you can see from attached picture

I did 30k silent miles with a thule wing bar on. That’s where my money would go.

Another option is the Yakima Whispbar. Has the same ‘T’ track system as the Thule bars. However, the footpack is only £30/€30 - it’s been great as I’ve fitted to 4 different models of similar sized cars (3 different MQBs and a 3 series BMW).

I have Atera Signo Aerobars on my Cupra ST, they're a great design and are very well priced. I'm sure you can get ones to fit the hatchback.

Hey, I recently purchased this one on ebay:

and have done 1200 miles with a box on it and no issues, I'm actually quite impressed and its quiet.
