Ross do the Bora's have a k03 or k03s? or if both what engine code has what?

My mates just bought one and has been asking me about remapping it.....I wasn't sure what to tell him about gains.

Adam,

AUM and AUQ have the K03s and VVT. AGU is K03 but has a large port head, AGU is the better engine if going for really big power but AUM and AUQ tune better on the standard turbo, up to 240bhp.

AUM is identical to AUQ other than having a 150bhp factory map as opposed to the 180bhp of the AUQ.

Thats a great help mate, I know he has a N249 valve would this mean he has the better turbo as the AGU didn't have a N249?

I will get him to check his engine code either way

5 speed after 2000/01 is AUM. 6 speed after 2002 is AUQ mate. Both map to exactly the same power.
