Rounded Wheel Nut! :@

I was gonna swap my 15's for some nice 17 inch RS4s earlier... but literally the first nut i come to was round... and i mean round as f*ck haha.

I tried plyers and grips and stuff but no luck, it hasn't even moved a turn,

Anyone got any ideas of how i'm gonna get this one out?

get a socket that is just slightly to small for the wheel nut, get a big hammer, then whack the socket onto rounded off wheel nut and undo.

weld a piece of 12mm bar on the end and a big set of stilsons will have it moving

Get one of those threaded sockets for removing locking wheel nuts, that'll work as well.

ok i had another go at it....

Hit a 16mm over the nut, managed to get it on...
Started turning it with a huge bar and the socket just split!!!
Stupid socket set

I'm gonna have a go at welding a bar on there now,
i definately need to order another wheel nut too lol

machine mart do a rounded socket remover set for doingexactly this...

I used to have a set... worked wonders!

@Luap - i'm lending a mate's set, he said he got his from machine mart too so hopefully tonight will be the end of this ordeal lol

Had another go with the 16mm... but a stronger socket set.

Got it eventually Just need to get my hands on a spare nut now. The alloys look tidy aswell,
