Im currently looking at upgrading my standard 16" multi-spoke alloys with either RS4 or RS6 alloys, but i cannot decide which ones to go for! I want to keep the OEM look so i wanted to get VAG alloys, but i can also get hold of either for under £400. So my question is, what does everyone think? I would love to hear opinions and have a look at pictures if anyones got some. I have searched and looked at a few of other members leons, but i wanted a dedicated thread to decide on what i want. At the moment Im favoring the RS4s with a dark graphite finish, but the RS6's look just as good in the same colour, and i havnt seen any ovni yellow leons with either sets so if anyone can help it would be much appreciated :D

i have been trying to decide the exact same thing, for my ovni lc! think i'm gunna go for the RS4's, they would look better graphite, i think - but can't find them anywhere in that finish for£400. you can get the normal finish for £400 on e-bay

i did find a few pics on here of both on pre-facelift LC's, but none ovni, not sure where i got them tho

Anybody got an opinion at least? Spent ages looking and found a pic of the rs6s on a yellow leon and think i prefer the rs4s but still would like to see what they look like.

I'm going for the RS4 alloys, have seen some really nice polished ones. But can't find them in the correct offset for the leon. Think i may just have to get a standard set, and maybe get them done in a darker colour like graphite or anthracite.

You can get the 5x100 offset ones on Ebay for around £400 with tyres, which is what im going to do, then get them sprayed darker when cash flow allows. I cant find any pics of Yellow cupras with either the RS4 or RS6 alloys but i could post up a picture of mine of anyone wants to have a go at 'shopping them on?

I'd go for the RS4's - that's what I was going to buy for my SE TDi until my insurance company put a stop to that idea :(

I rang them up before I made any purchases to find out if I would be covered and they told me that they wouldn't insure any mods for drivers under 21 or 25, i forget which now.

However, all insurance company's are different, so just ring up and make sure before you spend any money.

I saw some decent looking twin blade 5 spokes on an A4 54 plate estate the other day (looked OE)... but I was down the VAG dealer last Saturday getting a plastic grub screw for the engine cover and there was some nice rims on a range of VW/Audi's.

It might be worth a trip down to your local VAG dealer and see whats on the motors and options list.

Although £400 is a very limited budget, I'd try and save up a little more and go for some decent tyres at the same time. Post some pic's when you've got the wheels...
