Ive not had this problem although depending on the colour of your car im sure you would be able to pick up a 2nd hand boot from somewhere fairly cheap:)

Yeh its just mines is right along the seal on the ledge. I am sure a small touch up pen would do the trick either that its a new boot lid for me!!

Depends on what price you can get sprayed for. Might be worth popping a post in the 'wanted' section for a boot. You never know, someone might have one knocking around.

Failing that get someone mobile to come out and give you a price. You might find you dont need a whole respray on the boot and it can be 'touched up' or so to speak

Out of intrest, why 212bhp?

Yes it makes a huge difference getting it mapped. Most people on here have their Ibizas mapped and its worth doing.

Its just i phoned revo in glasgow and they said a standard stage 1 remap would take it to approx 212bhp? Surely that would be fast enough? haha

What other mods have you got? Would be surprised if just a remap would get u that.

Yeah its pretty quick like that but you get used to it and crave more power, trust me.

Thats what i thought but we'll see. I only have a green cotton induction kit dump valve and scorpion exhaust from cat back. What power you putting out?

Not sure now as I have done a couple more bits since the last rolling road. It was last at 203bhp & 238lb/ft with green cotton, forge dv, scorpion cat back exhaust & P-Torque remap.

RR day before that got 226bhp but I dont think thats accurate.

Ive just added a frount mount intercooler, Forge TIP and got a new N75 valve on the way. Its performing better than it ever has before and Ive just had my new vr6 clucth & g60 flywheel fitted too.

Take it back to the dealers as the paint work comes with a 10year anti rust cover

Would be good if anybody can back this up... Ive got a small bubble on the rear arch, could save me a few pennies when i get the rest of my exterior done ;)

I had rust on my boot in the same place and had it repaired under warranty. I think it was a six year paint warranty but I'm not sure.

If your rear window has ever been removed then it voids the warranty (they had to get a specialist to look at mine as they thought it might have been removed to have tints fitted - luckily they hadn't been removed!)

and if the rust was caused by a stone chip then it is not covered.

Rust on the boot is/was a common issue, I've heard of quite a few being repaired under warranty.

Yes its true as i have rust on my boot an in the process of gettin it done through the dealers. They wanted to touch it up to start with, but i wouldnt let them as all the boot needs paitin an the window needs to come out. So just waitin to hear from them now
