S3 Engine Covers

Hi Fellas

I have been having a look on the ukmkivs forum and have seen some of the Golf 4 boys fitting the Auidi S3 engine covers (1 over the coolant and water bottles, and 1 over the battery)

Is it possible to fit these covers to the Leon as I know there are a lot of similarities in the parts and manufacture of the A3/S3, Golf and Leon?

I have found a kit very very cheap but want to make sure that they fit before parting with some cash

Any quick help will be appreciated

I have managed to get hold of the 2 covers, should be here tomorrow or Friday.

I will have a mock up

Has noone else tried this? The Golf boys dont think they will fit

No probs mate, will be Friday at the earliest fully fitted (if I can get them on). I have just ordered the brackets from Audi, getting posted out to me tomorrow, arrive Friday hopfully.

Should be able to mock up tomorrow though when the covers arrive (hopefully)

want to see if they fit, as Im not sure about the front corner, they look more rounded than on the Leon!

Not overly keen on that tbh, the bay looks good enough as it is standard.

Fair enough mate, I suppose having all the engine covers carbon fibre might look a bit too much wouldn't want to spoil it.
