Thanks tom. We were very limited to what we can actually do, in a garage and on axle stands. Tried to cover every angle of there being issues before hand. That was key. Im more than happy with how well everything went. Lets hope the hard work has paid off once we are on the dyno, i have a very good feeling
Can't wait to get mine fitted. Driven a Revo stage 2 LCR with a Wavetrac and it just gets the power down so much better. Covers ground so well. That's before you've got to the twisty stuff!
Congratulations on the baby front. You'll love being a dad it's hard work but very rewarding.
You're cars looking great will be interesting how it performs.
just when things were going well my car has developed a issue, minor set back. My car has started to develope blue smoke on idle. It's fine on boost and normal driving. This points to valve guides. Anyway I managed to buy a reconditioned large port head so in the long run its not a bad thing. I will be up rating the valves, may or may not reuse my uprated valves from my current head.
Here's a pic of the large port
That looks like the AEB head that finished on eBay yesterday £87 plus postage. I was bidding on it up to £77. There's is a few AEB and AGU heads on there at the moment. There's a fully recon AGU for £395 the rest are up for £99-£150 not reconditioned.
Yes this is the one that ended at £87. Listed as a reconditioned head, acid cleaned, pressure tested. Built and inspected. I did ask the seller questions about the guides about 1 hour before the end but didnt get a reply in time, so took a chance on it. My max bid was £120.08 lol
