Car is looking good, i would advise a 3" downpipe as i found spool was much faster with one fitted
How much was the MBC is you dont mind me asking?

Car looks spot on, like the custom air scoop did you make it or buy it?:)
thank you :)
i bought it from a ex member here, i also have relocation brackets for the battery to make enough room for a cold feed pipe.

thanks :D
i am going 3" dp but not for performance as the car is insane, more for keeping the EGT's down as they do go mad some times on the dyno lol
the mbc was £70. then i had a dyno session to set it up properly. turned boost down by 0.6 bar and still made a true 280 bhp.

Cars looking better by the week mate  keep it up :) I'll be down for my polished manni soon ;)

Get the car down pod Sam (sambryant) and get into the 13's now you've got some decent power ;)

update
oil leak is now sorted :) this was down to the dipstick tube not sitting right due to the insulator gasket making the dipstick bracket 10mm away from were it should be. now its seated as it should. i have given the car a good run with out any leaks.
saturday involed, sorting out the leak and cleaning all oil from the engine bay. this was not a nice job. also nick popped round to lend me his axle stands, i used these to remove the tray under the engine. my god how i love oil on my face lol. the tray was very dirty and had tons of oil on it. gunked it off, now its super clean. i then refitted the tray and job done.
thanks nick for helping me out.
also nick pointed out my cv boot has split, now i have notice an increase in road noise over the last few weeks so could this be the cause? any help on this matter would be great.

sunday

well today i gave the car a proper clean, its only had half hearted cleans the last few months due to crappy weather so today was a good step to take.
i have notice a few new light scratches and stone chips, these really peee me off.
anyway overall shes looking good

Sam the car is looking sweet. Great work with the oil issues too!

Shame you don't live closer would like to see this car up close!

P.S do you need a new front splitter? Looks to hang low a tad in the middle. Other than that car looks perfecto!! Love it.

Alright sam

16825 refers to EVAP incorrect purge flow , i Thru that code when i disconnected my vacuum feed from TB to carbon canister ,

check all evap pipes or resister if youve done away with all that gubbins .

hope this helps

twenny

Quick check , is the carbon canister top still clicking loud ?? if not youve lost your vacuum feed to it

thanks twenny. i just checked the carbon canister and its ticking but very quietly. all vac pipes are fine. so does this point to the n80 valve being faulty?

Love the car! Want mine up to this spec as soon as i can afford it... I have no idea how i've never seen it around considering you live up the road and pretty sure id notice it!
