Sat Nav Losing Position

Hi all,
I have a 23 plate Ateca and the in built sat Nav says I am 40 miles from where I actually am. It also shows the speeds in the road signs for the location it thinks I am in?? Has anyone got similar issues or had a fix for this?

Turn it off and turn it on again. My sat nav seems to always lose itself south of Birmingham going north. Very annoying but intermittent.

Tried that. Tried a hard reset. It’s a constant issue that hasn’t sorted itself.

Sorry, no more ideas. If it's constant sounds like a fault somewhere, dealer trip needed.

Sounds like an aerial issue. Cabling perhaps.
With a weak GPS signal you will get fewer satellites to position from.
Could be something else ofcourse.

The earlier mib3 models gave you that as well. It affected the connected phone as well since the signal was taken from the car. How it was resolved will be on the board. Wondering whether it was a firmware update. The issue went across the VAG brand so you saw it on Skodas, VWs etc.

I went to town on this post. It was the OCU. Online control unit, what the dealer told @IanH72.

Has anyone had any issues with the built in navigation system losing the cars position and which direction it is traveling?
