Saying hi from South London - new Seat Leon Facelift ordered

Hi all,

Been lurking for a while but thought it would be nice to say hi.

Just ordered over the Christmas break a new Seat Leon 1.4 Eco TSI, DSG gear box in glacier white metallic.

Comes with a few optional extra's such as convenience pack plus, full link and the 18 inch sports alloys. Now the wait begins until I pick her up in March.

Coming from a manual 10 year old Audi A3 1.8 TFSI so really looking forward to getting much better fuel economy whilst not sacrifing on performance. Also looking forward to enjoying the new technology, comfort and build quality of the Leon which I was most impressed with when I drove both the 5 door and ST.

My heart did think about a Cupra but decided to be sensible ..... (Well for now at least!).

In my Cupra, I can go quicker on the twisty borders roads than I can on my bike and have as much fun too.

It was actually watching the video by bridge to gantry on YouTube entitled "Seat Cupra 280 ST - day 1 with my car" that I got to fully appreciate what an awesome car the Cupra must be!

Can't post the video as need 15 posts.

I think if I were to drive one then that would change my mind and I would really prefer not to having signed the order confirmation document last week
