Right guys I've just purchased a scorpion decat which I am going to bolt on my standard exhaust system. It should be arriving by weekend hopefully. Mods to date are badger5 tip, JR filter, N249 bypass, oil catch can and custom stage 1 map.

Ive been doing some research and its seems to be a total mix of opinions.

The good stuff I've read is early spool up, slightly better power across range and slight change of noise.

The bad stuff is fuelling issues and car seemed slower.

Guys can you let me no your personal experiences with the scorpion???

I've got one mate. Along with a milltek from there to the back.

Can't say I have any fuelling issues that I know of, and mine goes like a ****** ****** so defo not slow.

I haven't noticed any turbo lag at all to be honest, so I'd say it definitely helps the spool up.

I would think any decat would do the job.

Get a angled spacer off eBay for the 2nd lambda probe to avoid eml on dash. Other than that as I said in the cobra exhaust thread I wrapped mine due to the noise of it (tinny underneath car). Don't forget new gaskets.

did you go hinckley to your car mapped in the end

I had a scorpion decat on standard exhaust. Sounded a bit tinny sometimes.. N that was the only downside. More turbo noise spool up quicker exhaust note slightly deeper. You'll like it jus make sure you get the spacer to stop eml coming on :)

I've got one in mine like has been said with the rest of the exhaust it's a bit tinny to start with and eml light does come on but I've put a spacer in and it's worked for me

Thanks for feedback.

Defo need to get a spacer as unnecessary lights annoy me after a while.

I once had a car and the clocks look like a christmas tree with all the lights on, right pain it was lol
