I spotted stuff ages ago in Halfrauds that was supposed to remove small scratches in glass. Failing that, im sure you can get domestic scratch remover for drink glasses or house windows. For a cheaper solution try some brasso if the scratches arent too bad.

I've got a windscreen thats got millions of tiny, TINY, chips all over it - and I mean tiny (pin sized kinda marks)

i've been recommended the stuff in halfords, gonna try it as the marks on my windows are prob a lot smaller than your scratch. If not then god knows :(

I got some cerium oxide of ebay. It's meant to be for polishing stones. Mix it with a bit of fairy liquid into a paste and it polishes scratches out very well. I had to use some 1200 & then 2000 grit wet & dry on some of mine first, but it worked. Depends how deep the scratches are. Be warned though it takes an age to do!

I have this as well on my 4.5yr old windscreen. Pitted or debris blasted from highway driving. extremely annoying in the late afternoon when sun is low (can't see sh:censored: t). Even the wipers are having a hard time cleaning from being so pitted.

That's a matter of opinion. You are a better man than me if you can pick up a few microns worth depth change with the naked eye! Especially as it is on his rear screen!

Whatever my friend. My last word on the subject is I HAVE done the above, I speak from EXPERIENCE and I know it works. I defy anyone to pick it up with the naked eye. Granted it all does depend on the depth of the scratch.
