Running a very stiff setup on my LCR but dont have a cage currently
Driving over to a friends house today in the hills in the middle of nowhere and after doing lots of tripoding in noticed i started getting lots of noises when doing this.
It wasnt the normal bush creaking but a horrible metallic twisting noise from the rear
I'm wondering if running the car so stiff overtime over undulating and rough terrain is applying stress to the shell and coldworking the metal
Im wondering if seam welding will stregthen the car up a bit
Anyone done this or any info?
Cheers

I have done a few sub frames on some gt turbos, handling was improved and a stiffer drive. Not a quick or easy job though. Everything needs stripping , then it's all got to be painted after.
