Searching??

When I do a search it returns odd results!

For instance if I search for 'search' in here I get a couple of results last posted in this week and a few last posted in in 2007. This didn't happen before.

Any ideas??

I'm having probelms with this too.

Even when I'm searching for posts I've made I cannot find them.

Not exclusive to any particular section either, same on a few sections

Me too I'm using google though until it's sorted.
Just add seatcupra net to the search and it will be fine.

This is what I've been doing but you can't select the forum, ie mk2 Leon. Hopefully it'll be sorted soon.

hmmm well I did a full indexing at the weekend, took about 2hrs

I will do some looking

Seems ok for me.

Marts thinks the re-index would likely of took longer than a couple of hours so that may explain why its since settled down?

I'm getting 9 as well but there should be loads more.

Seems fine to me, I'm more inclined to say its a browser cache issue at the users end.

Narrow it down to just the Mk2 Leon section

Nothing in particular is staring us in the face as being a route cause, but we can see the problem.

Martyn is reindexing the database, so the forum may be on a go-slow while this process is running. Due to the size of the forum its likely the process may take 24-48 hours to complete.

The search functions are unlikely to work properly until this is completed. We'll see where we are at then.
