Hi All, sorry if discussed before but am new here. So after I bought a MK4 Leon on Friday. It's 1 year old 1.5(130) FR and I decided to register and pay for 1 year Seat Connect (before checking this forum - doh). So it took my money sure enough but then threw me out of the App and gave a brief error message that there was a problem. Didn't have time to read exactly. Anyway I went back into the connect app to find that nothing was registered/services need renewing. The problem is it took my money and when I call Seat Connect Customer Services they say speak with the dealer. Is/has anybody else had issues recently? Thinking I shouldn't have bothered now as appears to be limited functionality. Any advice helpful. Thanks

Hi, bought a new Leon PHEV 1/7/21 and been chasing the supplying dealer and Seat Uk for my connect registration authorisation and despite another weeks wait 2 phone calls and several emails still nothing from Seat Uk.
I took my wife’s Ibiza in for a service today and asked the service manager for some assistance. Long story but after 25 minutes it’s all been sorted however it did need verification using my UK license details inputting into the Dealer UK system.
When I arrived home 40 minutes later had the email and the car recognised my details and after registering the two keys the system is operating. Local family franchise Seat dealer took the time to sort it out.
Hope this helps but it’s not as easy as it should be, however I’m sure the Seat dealer has the tools to resolve the problem

Eventually got the money returned but still without connect. However given the problems I'm not going to bother again.
Exactly what happened to me but your bank will probably return this in about 4 days. SEAT really need to make this an easy process. Prices of cars are going up for service and assistance systems we don't need or want.I have tried to renew my service and get unexpected error on the end and money has been already taken as pending transaction! What a pile of s**t
Got it. So basically those transactions aren't pending manual approval or anything like that. Eh, not sure if I can be bothered going through the whole dealership -> ID verification process just to pay for a bunch of subpar services.
He didn't he got his money back (I searched for other posts)
