Seat Ibiza 1.4 oil pressure problem?

Hi all.

I'm have a problem with a car I have just bought? When the car gets up to temp the oil light will start to flash and I will hear the buzzing noise but this ONLY happens between 1800 and 2000 revs. When it comes on if I let go of the throttle and let it idle it goes off, if I rev it past 2000 it goes off it only comes on between the two but it does go off.
I was wondering what it could be.
I was thinking wrong grade oil or oil pressure switch.
It does have a oil leak but I can't see that causing it or are these cars a bit fragile in that respect?

No engine knocking or tapping
Runs absolutely fine
It has done 114000 miles

assuming these enough oil in it- I would start with an oil change and reputable filter the next stage I would think is to plumb in a pressure guage and see whats happening

Thanks I will give that a go, yeah it has got full oil in I made sure of that when I bought it.
Would you say I ts anything serious and where would I go for it pressure testing I like in the Wakefield/Barnsley area.
I don't have those kind of tools to do it myself.
