seat inca over heating

Hi I have a seat inca and it looses coolant water within a week and overheats can't find any leaks anywhere. Also no heat comes from the heater in the cab heater blows but never warms up, and the rad fan never kicks in.. any ideas would be a great

sounds like water pump to me.

is the water pump easy to fit and how much should i pay for one .

Depends which engine you have in your van mate. If it's the SDI then it's a cambelt replacement job to change the water pump. If you have the 1Y diesel engine then I think the water pump runs off the V belt (but I'm not sure).

Could just be a thermostst that is stuck shut.
