hi all, im buying a seat leon cupra r in febuary and ive been looking around at a few different ones and ive noticed that there is 3 different powered ones... one is 210bhp one is 221bhp and one is 225bhp and just wondering why this is? is this just agee of the car or...? ive managed to quote the 210bhp on business insurance for when im 19 which is in febuary for 1200 and just wondering if this would change for the 225bhp? so is it just the age of the car which is the different bhpowers?
many thanks... john.

There are only two kinds, there is a "210" model which is 210 ps (roughly 212 bhp) and there is the "225" which is 225 bhp or roughly 222 ps, bit confusing lol. Pretty easy to tell the difference, the 210 has an AMK engine code and the 225 has a BAM engine code, the 225 also has a different steering wheel and red cupra logos I think. Price would depend on the insurance group (I have no idea what they are), the 225 is possibly an insurance group higher but as 225s are generally newer that might push the insurance up a bit too. Fire them both into a price comparison.

I was going to get a 210 and it sold so got a 225 my insurance went up £150 depens on company though mate
