Seriously though no company who does RR 'opens up your engine' to get the fly HP.

There's dynos which will give you fly HP and give you the drag aswell so you know what it's putting down at the wheels.

One thing you should be worried about mate is the fact that you were sold the car as a cr170 and it was showing that bhp on your rolling road print out with a remap /tuning box , so two things , number 1 you actually have a cr140 and have been mis sold by the dealer or no 2 the car isn't remapped and your rolling road was of a standard cr170 no map and no tuning box , which is it ??
Any tuning box wether its a £50 one or £500 one would show a difference when fitted to a std car

I still think it has measured whp, which would very loosely equate to around 195bhp, which fits with the 295lbft measured on the dyno. A stock 170 producing that much torque but no more power is just not likely. It might not be a great map, it seems low on power for that, but we know nothing more.

It is not a CR140 as the tax is too high at £130 per year.

What I don't get is why he has not asked the RR operator to resolve whether it was whp or bhp.

In any event, the box is gone. The guy wanted to explore something different, it didn't work and we all had an interesting read.

I know it's just a link to explain it abit better to people so the don't think we are making it up, besides people would read this in the future and it's best to clarify everything now, so all their questions will be answered or close to being answered

Don't worry, you stick to your guns, others before you have been mocked and gone on to greatness, it's the people that won't listen that have the problems the enlightened are always persecuted by the ignorant masses , they are scared of what they cannot understand or comprehend. Time will see you proved right!
In the meantime, play nicely with your friends, share your crayons , eat your angel delight without dribbling and, when the nice lady asks, go sleepy byes in the lovely padded room. Tomorrow is another day and you have lots and lots to look forward to...... :D
