In October 2021 I got my first SEAT. I've absolutely loved it, so much so, that I've ordered another one. Same model the FR but bigger bhp as 130 now 115 so went for the 150.
I've done this on contract hire again.

One surprise, the car no longer has coast-to-coast lighting or dynamic indicators. Unusual for specification to be downgraded but hopefully it has other improvements over the 2021 model.

Is it that unusual for there to be spec downgrades? With VW, it’s unusual for there not to be little cost cutting (a.k.a penny pinching 🤣) changes during a model’s lifecycle, although those spec deletions are often offset by some additional features. I dare say Seat and Cupra are no different and will also remove some items of spec, but they’ll hopefully add some new features too.

Might be worth checking through the price and spec brochure, which lists equipment and options for each trim level. Hopefully you’ll be able to see if there’s any other (obvious) spec changes to the latest FR compared to your car;

Thanks for your reply, yes, I suppose so but it still surprised me. Especially the coast-to-coast rear lights which look so cool! I downloaded the brochure but it conflicts with the specification! I contacted Seat for a definitive based on the confusion. The brochure clearly states coast-to-coast lighting for the FR but spec states only for the FR Sport. See what turns up! Looking forward to another one. Only problem I've had, in the early days, has been with the infotainment system, the SOS error and the popping noise. After that was solved it's been brilliant.
