Thought I'd start a progress thread for my new Leon FR. Only had the car a few weeks It's the 2.0 TFSI bought it from my mate after owning a Astra 2.0T Sri. Got to say can feel the quality difference in the cars I'm not knocking my old astra but the Leon is so much better and quicker! I've been told it is mapped but have no proof but judging by the aggressiveness of the acceleration it's pretty quick!

Bought the Linea R grill pretty much the day after I got it and it was already painted black. Looks so much better IMO.

Got the Triple R splitter and diffuser on the way and been looking for some new wheels and springs but can't decide wether to go 19's or stay 18". Anyways opinions welcome. Cheers

Looks good. The honeycombe grills look so much better than the original, which just looks out of place.

I'd have the bumper bits done black as well (live i've done) to give it that more aggressive/Cupra look..... Mirror covers too

Yeah got the paint for the mirror covers just need the time and weather to get them done. Do you mean the rest of the grills painted?

The bit either side (and behind) the front number plate, and the lip along the bottom of the main/lower grill

Oh right see what you mean now I was thinking of painting/wrapping the lower lip but if I do that I might aswell do the bits either side of the plate aswell.

Small update

Changed my interior bulbs to white led/smd's also changed my headlight bulbs to mtec bright white bulbs but don't have any photos of these. Happy with the results.

Guess what turned up today!

I was a little apprehensive of these turning up after seeing a couple of posts with quality issues from the mould etc but have to say the quality of the finish is great. Can't wait to get them fitted hopefully sometime
next week.

nice josh just got the same car today but in silver, mine is standard,
where did you get linea r grill from and how much mate def going change my grill, and the few mods you have done already im going to do cheap and make car look alot better

Post up the pics mate I'm sure you'll get people's opinions. But still at the end of the day if it makes you happy then that's what really matters.

Yeah will get some tomorrow in the light. Defnitley get one bought bud sets off the front end I think. Will look good on yours just been having a look through your progress thread your car looks great!! Nice work

Tell me about it I'm working on looks then no doubt I'll turn to the engine. But our lass is expecting our second so will have to cram everything in in the next 7 months because no doubt I'll have even less time to play haha
