So as promised (ok its a day late) pictures of my onvi yellow FR.
Plenty of mods to come so ive made it under a project thread, it will probably be a slow build but that's mainly because im thinking carefully about what i get and how i do things, i may shock a few people with some of the ideas i have but we will see:).

A little bit about my leon (if your interested:lol:), one pervious owner full seat service history, when i bought the car it only had 45,000 on the clock (good buy in my eyes),05 plate, i believe its the FR+?, full LCR body kit and wheels (17") this car was made this way.

Currently in the process of converting this car into 4 wheel drive quattro - project completion - 8 % - still loads i want to do to this car.

My mods to the car so far;

*Celtic tuning remap (206 BHP, 395nm) - thats what the remap was set up to do, RR in may might prove differently.
*Clutch-Specialist (C-Gmotorsport) - Balanced and lightened solid fly wheel, 6 paddle clutch.
*JBS - H&R lowering springs, lowered the car 35mm (though it could be 30mm):lol:.
*L.E.D - number plate bulbs and side lights.
*(not mods more repairs but still money spent on the car :lol:)- new front wheel bearings and bushes.
*Roof and bonnet respray - due to the laquer flaking a bit.
*Team hecko wind deflectors front and rear.
*FR mats front and rear (black with red trimming and FR badge).
*engine bay clean up (sprayed engine cover in gloss black and battery cover also carbon wrapped).
*carbon wrapped rear "seat" badge.

mods to come;
*recondition gear box (or a new one).-- (in the process of looking and deciding)
*Carbon induction kit - with custom air intake ;).
*EGR delete, also EGR blanking plate (if thats possible?, may sound silly).
*Full miltek exhaust kit, sports de-cat.
*Colour coded silicone piping (you'll find out the colour ;)).-- (small amount of this will be done soon)
*ARB front and rear- undecided on which ones as of yet.
*Full polyflex bushes everywhere.
*Uprated engine mounts.
*New coilovers - (same again youll find out which ones ;)- also very impressive;)).
*Strut braces - in every place i can possibly get them :lol:.
*Uprated turbo.
*Short shifter kit. -- (this will be done with the gear box)
*Front mount intercooler (maybe).
*Oil catch tank.
*Shallow sump.
*Custom made carbon fibre engine bay covers.
*Another remap.
*Rolling road results.-- (these will be up in may!)
*Fuel filter.-- (bought and fitted)

Im sure there will be more to add to the list as i go along sorry if i bore anyone with this list just its also going to be my little tick list so i can have what ive done at the side of it :lol:.

Braking;
*(Currently sourcing if its possible if it is it will be impressive;)), front and rear brake upgrade.
*Either HEL or Goodridge stainless steel brake lines all round.

Exterior;
*Custom made carbon fibre front spliter.
*Respray at some point to freshen up the onvi yellow.
*Finish off L.E.D conversion (front fog lights, possibly indicators and tail lights, also interior).
*Some kind of headlight bulb upgrade (undecided on what).
*Possibly different wheels - either 18" LCR wheels or some kind of BBS.
*Modify front grills.
*Possibly some sort of DRL.
*May also need some thing doing with my arches ....;).
*Also a few other bits and bobs - all with pictures.

Interior;
*Alpine flip out head unit - built in satnav, bluetooth, reversing camera and sensors.-- (being bought in may - woohoo)
*Full JL speeker upgrade - competition speekers.
*Small sub in boot - very small one dont want nothing to much.
*Seats -( these will shock a few people if i can get my paws on a set ;)).-- (being priced up as we speak ;))
*Full cupra r interior.
*Boost gauge - with maybe a custom pod.-- (bought and fitted with custom pod)
*Possibly one more gauge - though unsure.
*A few nice touches i have in mind ;).
*T.V's in headrests with a separate DVD player for people in the back.
*Matching Spare wheel - also with a full boot install.
*Alarm system - remote engine start and turbo timer.

So this is my to do list :lol:.... its huge :-o, though im sure ill start getting through it, sorry if ive bored anyone with this also anyone who has read it.... thank you :lol:, im sure as i go along more will end up happening, plenty for people to look at :lol:.
Thank you again for reading my thread, my aim is to turn this car into a nice show car and subtle.

Few pictures of the car; (Front seat badge is missing i know, ill never go through a car wash for "quickness" ever again)

well not exactly a mod but another new part, though i think ill wait before i fit it as i want some new fuel lines as well but im unsure on the size of the piping ? guess ill have to measure it unless some one can save me a job if they know :p, any way bought my self a new fuel filter today (euro car parts job)... dont think you can get uprated fuel filters for these cars ? lol, i wouldnt see much use in one anyway?, however the chap in euro car parts said the one i bought is slightly better than standard one anyway hesting one i think it is, i dont mind as long as its replacing my old one which is looking really tatty from the out side so i dont want to think what its like on the inside, only down side with this new one is its all chrome !! :lol: im not really having a chrome look in the car but i guess you wont see much of it any way :p, also had my gear box priced with to have it refurbed and also have an LSD fitted so i think ill be buying an LSD soon and get my gear box refurbed before i start putting any more power through it.

Loving this one, looks very nice without faded paint like mine has!

With regards to the front mount intercooler you mentioned, do the FRs not come with one already? I know the Cupra tdi I have does and as far as I know the Fr is the same car...

Can't believe I've just seen this mate! Been waiting for your rr for ages lol. The inner diameter of fuel lines I used is 8mm. Have a look at mine if you haven't yet, got 3 meters and did some coolant stuff too, with about 1/2 meter left. I'd reccomend stronger clamps though, I think I'm going to get small jubilee clamps for mine. I'm putting a quiffe? Diff in a mates mg zr this weekend :) can't wait to have a go lol! Good idea getting the box refurbed, mine whined and lasted about 2 months after map haha! Got a bora 130pd box in her now though ;) stronger bearings apparently. Can't wait to see this come along, just don't be a biffer that says they're going to do big things then don't if you can help it lol! Looks good, need some photos with a few others on here!!

Yeah they do, no real need to change on arl engine unless you want looks or go about 280bhp. I'm going off figures I've read on that though.

cheers for the comments guys :), and joshy mate glad youve spotted my rr lol, also THANKYOU for the size of the fuel lines :lol:, im getting the forge fuel line so was just curious to what size to go for but now i know :), dont worry im not a person to big talk with out showing the proof ;).....also as for the front mount intercooler yeh ours do come with them and there capable of up to 300 BHP (some one may quote me different), however thats what i was told... but i am getting the gear box refurbed with a LSD fitted as well wavetrac one i think it was, or if your saying the bora box is stronger i may get my paws onto one of those and fit an LSD to that ?, and straight after ive got the box side of things sorted its all go from there with a hybrid turbo followed by the FMI then exhaust and the rest of my list..however dont quote me on which order it will all come :lol:, it may come in a different order depending how much i want my egr delete and exhaust doing.
Little update to show you im making progress joshy ;), today i bought my self a boost gauge and some thing else ;) so expect some pictures tomorrow of my boost gauge and custom pillar, should be an interesting one, also :D car is on the dyno next month !!!! so my results will be on this page soon of my rolling road.... also again ill have my self a sexy new cd player next month too, costing a fair wack but im sure it will be worth the money.;)

:lol: , love it decat is the way for me then, fitted my boost gauge today though im going to do the custom pod tomorrow ;), all wired up and its perfect works with the dimmer the lot so im a happy chappy on that one.... ive ran the pipe through and connected it only thing i havnt done is connected it in the engine bay, as i havnt a clue yet were im going to connect it to, ive seen alot of people drill into pipes and attach it im not sure i want to go down that route :confused:, so im going to look in more daylight were else i can attach it but i want the best reading i can possibly get, so it may be a case of a bit of drilling.... gulp, ill be getting some pictures up later as i did take a few as i was doing it for future refrence incase any new wants to do it.

That is quite a 'to do list'! It'll keep you busy by the sounds of it :)

You can't be a clean looking Ovni Leon. Love the glossy finish that you seem to have achieved. Looks great! I look forward to seeing your progress :)

If you drill, make sure you drill in a place you can get easy access to, to clean, so no plastic bits end up in the engine/going through the turbo
