Week 22 but don't know what that equates to in the calendar. There's a few threads on MY15->MY16 around with some useful info.

I'd rather have the updated Nav with better screen and Apple Car than SSS. Its not a patch on the HK system I had in my previous Merc. But then that was 550watts !!
Watts don't count for much, it is what you do with them ;)
Was that per channel? Or total? How many channels? Into what load 2/4/8 ohms? What was the sensitivity of each speaker? These things matter! (All rhetorichal BTW).
Don't fall for the watt power marketing, for cars or HiFi.

Back on topic, the SSS is pretty good for a car. It doesn't do high SPL and the sub is on the small side. To my ears someone has had a good go at correction with DSP, and considering the cost I think it is very good value.

I'm not an audiophile so couldn't answer most of that but the sound was great, bordering on fantastic especially the bass. I find the SSS good but just lets me down a little when the auto volume correction kicks in. I get that loud bassy sound for a second then it corrects and reduces which I find annoying.

Soundproof the doors and pack the speaker housings with accoustic foam and the SSS sounds even better. Really good infact.
