The Top 4 finishers in the SCC are testing it today, not just Jonny Adam. Got an invite, but sadly had to work. :(

Unless one of the Seat Cupra Championship teams want to step up to BTCC, seems a pointless excercise, as the Seat Cupras are nearly as quick as the tourers, and the cars are of "comparible" design.

Still, fingers crossed, one of those teams will secure the finance/sponsorship, and hopefully make the step up.

I would love to see the TDi's in action again next year.

Not really pointless, SCC top 4 have all had the chance to test the BTCC car over the past few years. It's something for those drivers to put on their CV.

They get a good learning experience of a full works car, and it gives them the opportunity to put in lap times that might help convince other BTCC teams to give them a test in their car.

SCC's aren't really that comparable to an S2000/D Tin top... more power, more aero, bigger brakes & wheels, no clutch - piece of piss to drive
