Seat update found internal problem when removing spark plugs

who's the finance company & who is they? is it a SEAT dealer?
I doubt they'll let you do a like-for-like swap on a car - HP / Lease agreements are usually car specific so you'd have to terminate anyway & go thro' a new HP / Lease agreement etc etc.
Be interesting to hear if they re-build the engine - depending on the dealership or garage the car is at would depend if I accepted the repair & took the car back.

Tough call bud, don't envy you.

I guess it all depends on what's actually gone wrong - I'd make a call to the Garage / Service Manager & demand an answer on what the fault is & what the solution is - they should really tell you.

Oh & ps: record & write down every conversation you have with the Finance Company & the Garage / Dealer - this can be very helpful if arrangements, agreements or relationships turn sour (a really good habit to get into).

If it's a SEAT dealer then there should be a "warranty" with the car - get tore into that paperwork & see what conditions that has - they will be liable for something on the condition of the car - do do do check it out.
don't know Marsh Finance so would really strongly advise you spent some quality time reading the small print.

Don't be afraid of this stuff, once you break it down you'll soon suss it out.

Please, just don't accept their word - please please check-out your agreement & warranty and understand your rights as-it-were.

Yeah I will quote that I have just spoke to finance company again because of my neg equity I paid 1600 more then the value it was up for so I am entiled for something of that value so the car was 11750 but because I paid 13 350 for car I am entiled to car of that value

Listers will get you sorted, they have been very good to me and a couple of people I know. Just shows when you find a bad one its a pain in the ass. Luckily the finance will give you a better "Legal" angle. As they own the car technically.

You get a 30 day cooling down period in which you can cancel. They will end up buying a car they find in another dealer some where. There's a burgundy one near my local seat dealer

They weren't that helpful when I went in, was actually considering taking my car to Clarkes of Kiddi when its due service/work.

I'd personally take a newer FR and try get a load of extra's added.

Well that have to really as I have had cupra not fit for use and tbh I came from leon fr wanted a ibiza cupra so I don't want to settle for fr not saying there a bad car just I wanted the cupra from day one
