Seatbelt Clips

Afternoon,
have a question. re the 2023 Formentor. the seatbelt clip the end attached to the seat , the bit you clip into. Is it possible to extend this, as mind on both front seats is actually below the seat edge. it is very difficult to get a hold of it to clip the belt clip into. Can these be adjusted to a longer length. thanks in advance.. Cheers

I don’t have a Formentor, but something to consider is that if the buckle assembly that the seatbelt plugs into is an active part of the car’s seatbelt pre-tensioning system (I don’t know if it is), then I’d guess on safety grounds it ought not be modified from the original factory spec by extending it.

Hi there , Yes I don't know if it is either. it is really thigh to get to when your ass is in the seat. I was wondering about seatbelt extensions. As you say i wouldn't want to modify the existing set up. Thanks for your response.
