Does any one else feel like they are very slightly offset to the pedals lol and does your right thigh press onto the right seat side (bolster)? My Audi was the same and i was hoping that SEAT would have improved on this from Audi
I have had the ST SE for 8 weeks now but I have still not found the right driving position yet! I agree with Tangit that it seems slightly offset. I have also noticed a crease forming on the right bolster on mine.
Andyj: You mention tilting the rear of the seat up. How are you doing this? Do you have electric seats?
Thyper keep an eye on that crease as my A3 had it and once it was there i couldnt get rid. My seats are in the SE Lux so they are full leather. I agree it is about 5mm off both the pedals and steering wheel. I drove a Focus ST the other day and that was bang on. My A£ was a bad offset and i found it impacted on my parking lol.
I wonder if the offset is the same for a left and drive
I have just been out and checked, yes the lever on the right tilts the base. I was under the impression the it made the seat base go up and down I do not get to drive it that often as the wife has always got it, I get to clean it each week though
Im not sure how andy measured the 5mm it may have been an estimate. I have noticed though that the brake pedal is or seems to be over sized compared to similar cars and i wonder if that has pushed the accelerator tot he right slightly. I also noted that the one i drove at SEAT had a pedal that was attached to the floor rather than hung like mine.
Well, I must say that seat issues are primarily concerned with the people inside the car. So more than 80 percent of the fault lies within us even though there is nothing much we can do about it other than adjust the seats. Seat issues are very much prevalent in Exeo and even though Audi had it before, they have figured it out that year itself in such a way that the new Audi cars are nothing but comfort and luxury redefined!
