I can't believe what I'm reading. I have done 12k miles in my TDi FR with 18's since the middle of last November. Basically I live in it most of the day, I do all types of driving in town too four drives down south.
The ride is firm and thats all I can say, its not harsh. If your use to a space hopper then even a Mk4 Golf would feel firm!!! The FR's setup was designed for grip and handling and I think its spot on for 15K, yes its cheap inside but its a very capable all day every day mile muncher.
Sorry for the hijack, I just thought I would put a positive spin on the FR for all the people who are about to pick one up.
