I have a VZ2/265 with the Sennheiser upgrade - and it is very good too... with high quality source material... well to my 68 1/2 year old ears anyway - all too often upgrade audio systems accentuate the treble/higher frequencies and this doesn't.

I do have a question for other Sennheiser owners - intermittently the system seems to pause, hesitate for a moment - I put it down to Amazon Music HD Unlimited however I have recently switched to Tidal (excellent) and the blip is still there - I'm guessing it is software issue but curious if anyone else has experienced the same?

Might be trying to push too much data over a restricted bandwidth in loss less (takes more) so you get a hiccup when it catches up. As you say whether anybody else's experiences it. I dont have such luxury in the car as lossless streaming. (May be it's not so lossless)

I've recently bought a new Leon with the Sennhieser package and experiencing the same issue with the speakers blipping. Did you solve the issue with your car or take it to the dealer?

Suspect its either the stream not running fast enough like you get streaming blips on lower bandwidth or the unit itself is multitasking. Personally I wouldn't try to listen to streaming music in a moving car, but that's me. You can always put it on a USB.

The Sennhieser system in the Ravel sounded very good sitting in the demo car.

It happens even with just the radio with no phone in the car which makes me think its a speaker issue. Unplugged the subwoofer which made no difference either. Going see what the dealer says.

Could still be the infotainment processor going off and doing something or the whole way the car is held together with the distributed systems like the telematics box that phones home putting a jab in for attention. How common is this ?. Several reports that I can think of.

Feels like a poll for people that have the system.
