"Service" Message

I've got the word "service" flashing on the odometer display of my Mk1 leon. Although it has just had a full service by a relative.

I have VAG-COM, but have only just got my hands on it, so don't really know how to use it. Could anyone tell me how I reset the service interval.

Using the latest version of VCDS (805.3) Go into :

[Applications]
[SRI-Reset]

The same thing can be done manually by going into:

[17-Instruments]
[Adaptation-10]
Then modify the appropriate adaptation channels.

thanks for that. I'd downloaded the old version and it didn't have the SRI application, so i'd just been reading up on it and discovered the 'adaptaion' tool.
