Service reminder removal

Had a quick search but new the mk4 section couldnt find what i was after
friend at work has a mk4 1.2 or something, been serviced but they havent re-set the service reminder and the spanner is coming up

anyone help me with this

its ok i sussed it
found the answer here with a bit of trawling but seen as this thread is open...

1.put key in ignition
2.push the trip reset stick and hold
3.turn ignition (but not turn the engine on)
4.wait about 15 seconds and you will get - - - where the trip distance was
5.let go and its gone

yep just do it again i belive its in the owners hand book how to do it, i have done it few times but forget for the next time i do it
