Servicing!

Hello,

I bought a used Seat Leon Diesel (04) a year ago at 43627 miles. I'm not sure on the recommended timespans between minor and major services? It's now got 56000 on the clock a year later. I think the last full service was when I bought it 1 year ago. Does this indicate a full service is required? Sorry to be a bit thick! I will only book a minor service if I can as funds are a bit tight. (What is the approx damage for a full service anyhow?)

Cheers!

really? I thought it was every 12k or once a year? I'm probably totally wrong. Do you mean next full service?

Check the manual ;)

From memory it's something like minor service every 10k then major one every 20k (give or take a few k)

That's for a 1.9tdi (non pd)

Full service on my Cupra R is £400, interim is £200, so I would expect around the £350 mark (from a SEAT dealer, anyway)

Hope this helps

Depending on what needs doing for my tdi it's around £100 for interim and £200 - £400 for full service (depending if belts etc. need doing).

That's from local Vag specialist though and not SEAT (they quoted me £500 for my interim and saying could be up to £800 for my full service!!! Some SEAT dealers may be resonable, but not all so be aware!!!)
