WOW - i have read this thread over the last couple of days and seriously some people are getting well over the top with their comments.

Bill at Badger5 knows what hes doing. He knows his stuff and provides this forum with amazing advice and good discounts. so honestly why are people slating him/his product?

SFS are a good company that know what the market needs. They must read forums and listen to their customers needs/comments - hell they may have even come across Bill's product and thought thats an amazing product we should develop our own.

But honestly for you all to argue about things and slag both (an other companies) off is stupid and immature. How many companies remap a car? do you think that 1 is better then the other? perhaps, but they do the same (with mixed reviews and results) so why slate 1 company for remapping simply because another company remapped a car first....

I may get some people trying to argue my point etc.. but i joined this forum as i thought it was the best, most polite and informative one. this thread has, unfortunately, proved otherwise.

I'd guess it's because most of us see Bill as one of us. If I had the skills that Bill has. I'd like to think that I would be motivated enough to develop my own ideas into something the larger company's could not see. And then start my own business.
As I've said earlier I'm all for free choice and competition. But I feel for Bill. To be so openly attacked by some of the users on here is a discgrace. I've only spoken to him once when ordering my V1 TIP. Which has change the character of my mostly standard car beyond belif. That's why I'm post here as I belive in his product. I would highly recommend it to anyone and yes I do think it's worth the money. As to how good the SFS product is I don't know.
This has turned out to be a passionate thread and there seems to be a divide between those of us that have the B5 TIP and those that want the SFS TIP. Dose that say more for Bills TIP or the other???

Don't think there is a divide really as such because bill is one of us he constantly helps members with advice for free and no the guy is a genius , the first time I met the guy I taught with a belly like that you know your in safe hands and think mainly what's rubbed up alot people the rong way is the fact sfs seemed to target bills (which I dnt think is intentional) tip but having spoken to guy on phone he says basically it's the only product to compare it to. There both great products IMO and was needed give people different options not to mention colours , they both will sell bucket loads of tips so let's all agree to disagree and leave it there

Why don't you give us an example of the slander then?

Do you mean libel by any chance? There hasn't been any of that either. Again, I'll invite you to provide a single example. Shouldn't be difficult since apparently the thread is littered with it

See my PM.

Clearly you don't know what it means or you wouldn't be using the wrong word.

Reasoned debate is fine but when you come on and tell people they're breaking the law and leaving themselves open to being sued then you're going over the top. I don't see how sfs have been treated unfairly anywhere on this thread. And yes I have read it all.

I never mentioned breaking the law or being sued, someone is only breaking the law if there is an opposing party willing or prepared to prosecute the said party and sued, for what?, who mentioned that:confused:

Perhaps you now see the irony in this statement lol!

Anyway, this shouldn't turn into a one on one debate so let's leave it there. Plus your car is my favourite on the forum so we have some common ground!

Cheers

Nice to see you now have a clear exampe, LOL.We do have common ground, i'm not here to argue but i call everything as i see it even if it offends, sorry about that.

Oh come on now. You could easily prove your point by providing a single example to back it up, as I've asked you to several times. What's the point in persisting with this argument if you can't do so? I'd quite like to leave it there now so either provide the evidence or leave it alone.

As to not dilute this thread, i have PM'ed you numerous examples, if you want more, please ask.;)

I think that, over time, the results will prove themselves. It really is as simple as that.

Currently, it's a new product and everyone is getting hung up on one dyno run, with no real supporting data, during which there were clearly different environmental factors. Doesn't make for good comparitive data. Simples.

I think there is some people being a bit thin skinned here.

Regarding the dyno figures being taken on different days, I thought a modern sophisticated rolling road corrected itself for different atmospheric conditions.
