The dealer seems to think I can get activation code. I have the new MY16 Leon ST with full link on the options within the menu. When you select it you get the message of "contact dealer for activation code". I'm hoping my dealer gets more info/training on the system as everyone there seems a little clueless with full link.

As it stands you can't get the activation code even if you have the Full Link option in the menu. It has to be enabled at the factory when the car is built  This has been confirmed a few times by SEAT customer services. Hopefully, their stance will change...

What i'm wondering is..

With my15, when you bought a car with the nav system high you got mirrorlink with it.
If you buy a my16 car now without full link, will you still have mirrorlink or is that something you only get with full link?

I hope it still includes mirrorlink tbh, i ordered my cupra as a my15 car, went for the nav high for the mirrorlink, bought a phone with mirrorlink compatibility specially for the car. Car got changed to my16 because of delays, so if mirrorlink isn't included now i would be pretty pissed tbh.

Explained in the first few posts :)

I hope the stance changes as simply connecting an apple/Sony MP3 through the only usb(media port) in the car doesn't seem to work. You just get a 'device not recognised' message.

I can't seem to see a mirror link option on the stereo. Just full link in the main menu

I see that your car is still in order? I have changed my order a week before production to have Full Link... Maybe you can still change it? In Belgium it costs 150€, thats not that much for having a future proof car/software...

Remember that Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are running fully via your device...

No Mirror link is just that (late MY2015 only) Full link is all three inc Mirror Link (MY2016)

Under Full Link should be Mirror Link

Ask for Seat AppGrade, in Belgium the option is called AppGrade, not full link.

Hmm might need to trade my Cupra in so I can get a new one with full link haha... Google Geek here so need to get an Android Auto system.

On the subject of retrofitting it... SEAT will always tell you that you can. likelyhood is you can.

Does it work with a USB splitter? I'd like to have one Android and one Iphone cable connected at all times.

I can confirm that iPhone works fine with USB on Apple Car play.

To bad that I can't have Seat DriveApp. It looks like that it is only for Android. Will test tomorrow.

Can classic iPods still be connected to the entertainment system when an Android phone is connected to Android Auto? If so would it have to share the USB port in front of the gear lever or is there a USB port also in the glove box? I dont use my classic iPod much in my current Audi A3, but it would be nice to be able to have the option in the Leon I'll be picking up on Monday.

I am from Slovenia and Android Auto app can't be downloaded from Android market :(

Also Seat Driveapp doesn't work if I choose country Slovenia.

Hi everyone. I took delivery of my black FR 5Dr yesterday. I've been playing with the Android auto and other gadgets and am quite happy with it so far. I can't seem to get Spotify to work via Android Auto though. The only music app options that appear are Google Play Music and TuneIn Radio. Anyone else having this issue?

Being a bit of a Google nerd, I'd love to see some photos of how Android Auto looks in the Leon if anybody has a moment to grab some?

Shame I bought a 13 plate Leon as it'll never see Android Auto, but it's a must for my next car.
