Hi guys,

Ive just ordered all new pads and discs, 2 lower arms, 2 drop links and 2 rear wheel bearings, going to do a full refresh of the suspension.
I cannot find anywhere that tells me what shocks and springs i have front and rear, i think with it being a cupra 180 auq it has sports suspension?
im not sure, anybody able to tell me part numbers?

I can look up exact part numbers for your car if you don't mind sending me its VIN via a private message.

Here's the part numbers of shocks & springs for your car:

Front (PR code: G99)
1J0411105P Coil spring for sports suspension (4 colour strokes, 1 paint mark, green/blue)
1J0413031DP Shock absorbers for sports suspension
JZW413031AB Gas shock absorber for sports suspension

Rear (PR code: 1JE)
1J0511115BF Coil spring for sports suspension (4 colour strokes, 1 paint mark (silver/blue)
8N0513025C Gas shock absorber for sports suspension

Curious thing here is that there are two alternative front shocks listed for your car, that seemed unusual to me.
You may want to check the shocks on your car to see which one it has.
Anyway, hope this helps & regards,
Serdar

Isn’t the Cupra R (BAM AND APX) engine cars 10mm lower so that is why there are 2 versions of springs?

If you're referring to my post above, it was shocks that have two versions, not springs.

In fact, there are way more than two versions of each component but the parts catalog should tell us exactly which one is supposed to be used for that specific car, known by its VIN.

That's probably so, but my point was when I query the parts catalog using a VIN, it should show me the part number of the exact shock. If it is an R, it should be just one shock for the R, not multiple ones. (there might be different versions for the different production dates but that's another matter)

from AI...

Part number 1J0413031DP (or 1J0 413 031 DP) is a genuine VAG (Volkswagen Audi Group) Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) part number for a front suspension shock absorber strut

Part number JZW413031AB is a Genuine Volkswagen Group (VAG) "Eco" Front Gas Shock Absorber / Suspension Strut, specifically engineered for vehicles equipped with a sports suspension setup. It belongs to Volkswagen’s "Economy" (or 4+) parts lineup, which offers cost-effective, factory-approved replacements tailored for vehicles that are four years or older.

Why not Febi B4 shocks to get all setup along with same brand?

rear end done with

shocks and top mounts, springs, wheel bearings, discs and pads

think maybe next year i'll treat her to a new rear axle and brake hoses and pipes at the rear.

sunday im gonna do the front with

shocks and top mounts, springs, wheel bearings, lower arms, drop links and discs and pads, might grab a couple of track rod ends tomorrow in case they look sh*t then ill get it tracked during the week.

and again maybe next year get a new subframe on her with new brake pipes and hoses too.
