EIP do call it Silver OEM (I guess they mean look) but I know what you are saying!

Finally got round to fitting my DG one today and its a vast improvement over the standard, relatively straight forward to fit as well

I notice that my Visa has been charged for my EIP so I guess mine is in the post. Only been waiting since January when I ordered it.

Fitted it tonight (in about 5 mins, thanks Pabs for the guide)

What can I say................... I LOVE IT!

Best mod I've done to date. I'm sure that I'll get use to it and then it won't feel as good but for now its like Sega Rally.

One question though. The old one was tough to get off so I leavered it with a long screwdriver. This made the whole spline "pop" out and move up and down on the rubber gater. Is this normal? It did not do it when I was just trying to pull the old shifter up by hand to try to get it off.

I fitted my eip short shift a while ago. love it. Does anyone now how to adjust it. It does feel a bit notchy..

It will feel a bit notchy as it's reducing the leverage you've got. There is a adjustmeent procedure on the dieselgeek.com website, I think it's under the fitting instructions....

Fitted dg acouple of weeks ago and is by far the best mod i have done. Took 7 days to arrive and on first look the instructions look fun but its pretty straight forward. Was slightly stiff at first but after a week its settled nicely.
